Jaguar electrifies LA with new concept car
It’s fitting that Jaguar unveiled its latest concept car at a Hollywood studio. The event was attended by celebrities and car aficionados who were treated to a virtual road ride in this vehicle of the future.
At the private Los Angeles event, Jaguar electrified the crowd with a first look at the new I-PACE Concept Car, attended by Miranda Kerr, Niall Horan, James Corden, Gavin Rossdale, Misha Barton, Jay Leno, Michelle Rodriguez, Bryce Harper, Louise Roe David Gandy, Mr. Hudson, Vannness Wu and other VIPs.
Taking place at the coveted Milk Studios, the over 300 attendees took part in a world-first, live cross-continent virtual reality reveal experience that transported the audience into a unique virtual world to explore the new I-PACE Concept vehicle. Using HTC Vive Business Edition headsets, powered by Dell Precision workstations, guests ‘sat’ on the concept’s virtual seats and experienced a 3600 view of Venice Beach as the I-PACE raced towards them across a virtual desert.
The start of a new era for Jaguar, The I-PACE Concept transforms the electric driving experience and offers the driver-focused performance and response Jaguar is renowned for. The next generation of vehicle design, the I-PACE Concept is equipped with a dramatic, future-facing cab-forward design with a beautiful interior – the product of authentic Jaguar DNA, electric technology and contemporary craftsmanship.
